Has this been a crazy year? We've all been talking about it.  We've hashed and rehashed our opinions about the whole mess.  However, even with all the chaos surrounding the past few months there are lots of things that haven't changed.  

One of those "things" is music. The right song can change our perspective when we are feeling low, It can pep us up when we play it loud in our car, music creates atmosphere in our home that brings peace or joy.  

When we can make music ourselves that takes to an entirely new level.  I love seeing the joy on my student's face when they master a song they have worked on for days or even weeks.  Music transcends time-you can play the same song that was played 200 years ago-playing the exact melody people enjoyed at that time.  The historical soundtrack of our lives brings back feelings that we had when we were younger and it's even more enjoyable when we can sit down and play them on our instrument.

Be on the lookout for ways to bring all kinds of quality music into your life.  Having a student learning to play  on their own is an added bonus.  I love being able to facilitate a love of music in the students who are a part of our studio.   I'm looking forward to a melodious fall season!

In light of the Corona Virus we are moving all lessons online until further notice.

We are breaking in new ways to teach and educate on all levels.  With so many variables and changes in our daily lives I hope that this can bring some stability and joy to all of our students.  

I will be offering Private lessons, group & buddy lessons, videos to prepare your students and some open practice times as a bonus.  

Please download Zoom on whatever device you will be utilizing.  I will be creating schedules that may be fluid over the next couple weeks as we begin to maneuver our new program. 

I have taught 5 online lessons this week and am confident that this will be a wonderful way to keep our studio on track and students making music.
