High Point Piano Studio offers multiple programs to learn to play the piano.
Zenith Program- 55 min- our group piano lab. They will have instruction and practice time. Most of these groups half the class time is assessment in the piano lab and the other is games and discovery time. There will be some weeks where students work on ensemble playing.
Trekkers Program: (30-45 min): Primer/Beginner Group. 5-6 yr olds This is a group setting with beginners/primer level. We use the Road Trip Curriculum created by the same author as Kiddy Keys. We play music and learn our lesson in a group setting each week. This is a transition class between Kiddy Keys and Piano Express.
Scalers Program- (30 min): Preschool Prep Class using the Kiddy Keys Program. This is a weekly class for 3-5 year old children to learn music appreciation, musical terms, singing and about the piano. This is a fun place to make friends and have fun.
Zenith Adult Program- (55 min): This is designed for adults and mature teens to have a time to learn to play the piano. It is a group class, learning to play ensemble and also individual pieces. This is a fun, relaxing setting to grow in your musical skills. These classes meet at 6:30 on Monday or Tuesday evening.
Very Limited basis:
Escalate Program- (30 min): 1-1 instruction. This program is for students who might have difficulty in the Zenith group piano lab. They would need more attention and instruction.
Summit Program- (30 min): 1-1 Advanced lesson for the serious minded musician. This student would be working on advanced repertoire, musicality and technique. A set practice requirement is part of this program. Students are admitted to this program through audition and application process.
Your tuition covers your each month of reserved lesson times. You will be charged whether you come to lessons or not. If your teacher misses a lesson you will be credited for the next month.
There is a $50 book fee each year when you register for lessons. This will be pro-rated if you start later in the year.
